I had the CK procedure at the Honolulu Eye Clinic and the results exceeded my expectations. Since having CK, I don’t have to use my reading glasses to read menus or the phone book. It’s been liberating not having to worry about carrying my reading glasses around.
Earlier in my life I had LASIK surgery and the distance correction was fine, but the reading correction eventually didn’t meet my expectations. I learned that CK could be done for people who had LASIK. It was much less invasive than my LASIK procedure. LASIK took a lot more post-operative care and healing time. I would recommend if someone wants to correct their reading vision, consider the CK procedure; especially people who had LASIK and are not quite satisfied with the reading part of their correction.

I had the CK procedure at the Honolulu Eye Clinic. The procedure was effortless. Very short time duration. I wasn’t conscious of any type of pain or anything. The staff was informative as to what I was to expect and what I had to do for next 24 to 48 hours following the procedure. Now I’m able to read menus in restaurants at night.  I can read the TV guide. I can read a phone book. That’s wonderful. I think that if you are a candidate for the CK procedure and you’re tired of not having your glasses with you or of having glasses in every portion of your office, your car and your home, this is something you should check into.

I had CK at the Honolulu Eye Clinic and it was painless, I got over it quickly. Nothing unusual happened. It was really incredible. You can’t believe anything’s been done but suddenly you can see! I had CK at the Honolulu Eye Clinic and the procedure lasted, I think, maybe 5 minutes and then within 5 minutes after the procedure I was reading without my glasses.  And I haven’t used them since. I’m reading books as much as I want. There’s no limit to it. I have never touched my glasses. I finally threw them away.
